TONAWANDAS ELIMINATOR CLASSIC
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND RULES
This tournament is open only to 2011-2012 USBC CERTIFIED MEMBERS of the Tonawandas USBC Association. No Affiliate Memberships will be accepted at the tournament site. All USBC rules shall prevail in this tournament.
DRESS CODE
• Participants will be expected to be in proper bowling attire for the tournament.
• Corduroys, denims and presentable jeans will be allowed.
• Sweat pants, shorts, T-Shirts and hats are not permitted.
RULES
1. This is a scratch tournament. No Handicap.
2. Pre-registered entrants must report thirty (30) minutes prior to their scheduled time. A tardy bowler may commence bowling with the frame then in progress and will receive zero (0) for the frames not bowled. Substitutes will be allowed if they meet all requirements. No pacers will be allowed.
3. Lane assignments will be by blind draw when checking in for tournament.
4. Bowlers will be allowed 15 minutes of practice before competition begins.
5. All entrants will bowl a four (4) game scratch qualifier across eight (8) lanes.
6. Field will be cut to 1 in 5 for Eliminator based on total pin fall from the 4 game qualifier.
7. One (1) game Eliminator Format by pair to determine Champion.
8. In the event of a tie, a complete 9th and 10th frame roll-off will be bowled.
9. One (1) rerack per game is allowed. Additional reracks must be authorized by the Tournament Director. The penalty will be zero for the frame in which the unauthorized rerack took place.
10. Lane conditions will not be a House Shot.
11. No current PBA Tour members who have participated in more than one (1) National Tour stop within the last year will be permitted to participate.
12. Walk-in entries will be accepted up to one (1) hour prior to start of Tournament.
The Tournament Director, along with the tournament committee, reserves the right to make final decisions of circumstances does not permit the application of any of the above rules. SEE RULE 303.
DISCLAIMER
Bowlers whose name appear on the official entry, or their authorized replacements, hereby agree that the Tonawandas USBC and its agents shall be liable only to the extent of returning entry fees if and when entrants shall be prevented from bowling in the tournament through delay, unexpected but necessary schedule change, or premature termination of the tournament, which may be brought about by war, national emergency or cause relating thereto or resulting there from, fire, strikes, lockouts, labor difficulties, or other causes beyond the control of the Tonawandas Eliminator Classic Tournament.
