Format:
All bowlers bowl 3 games across 6 lanes. The total field scratch scores will advance to the semifinals. In the event of a tie, a 1 game roll off will determine the last qualifier. Finals start immediately following Sun. 11:30 squad.
Semi Finals will bowl 3 more games with accumulating pinfall to determine the top 5.
Finals-the top 5 semi finalists will bowl TV style stepladder based on 6 game totals for seeding.
Ties to be resolved by 9th and 10th frame roll off.
Rules:
Check in at least 30 minutes before squad time. Failure to show may result in forfeiture of entry
Open to USBC men or women over the age of 50 as of April 26th/08.
1 in 5 Bowlers over age 60+will make the finals.
All competition is scratch
Any disputes will be resolved by USBC rules
Initial entry should be made by mail. Payment can be cash, check or money order.
Optional Brackets and sidepots will be available
Proper dress required- Name shirts suggested. No tee shirts, tank tops, jeans, hats, shorts or sweats. Let's be classy!
