Format:
Squads are five games. Cut based on total pins for the entire day, not by squad. Total pins will not be carried over into the finals.
Finals:
With 80 entries or more:
There will be 16 bowlers in the finals. These bowlers will bowl single-game elimination matches
(#1 bowls #16, etc), with additional cashing spots, until a winner is determined.
Bowlers can cash twice, but only once in the finals.
With 60 through 79 entries:
There will be 12 bowlers in the finals, with the top 4 qualifiers receiving byes. These bowlers will bowl
single-game elimination matches (#5 bowls #12, etc), then the byes will be seeded in the finals, until a winner
is determined. Bowlers can cash twice, but only once in the finals.
With 59 entries or less:
There will be a maximum of 8 bowlers in the finals. These bowlers will bowl single-game elimination
matches (#1 bowls #8, etc), until a winner is determined. Bowlers can cash twice, but only once in the finals.
Handicap:
Basis – 80% OF 225
Maximum of 60 pins per game. Bowlers must use their highest 2005-06 USBC sanctioned average, unless they are 10 pins higher for the 2006-07 season. Verified non-sanctioned averages will be accepted. Bowlers must claim winnings of $1,000 or more, with actual scores, for the past two seasons. Tournament Director has the right to reject or rerate any entry.
