Keenan rolls 300, goes on to win at Domm's

Posted by on Monday, March 17, 2008 (EST)

By Mike Pettinella

Dan Keenan of Rochester rolled a 300 game in the semifinals Sunday -- on the extremely difficult U.S. Open oil pattern -- and went on to win the 2008 Domm's Open presented by Hammer Bowling, bowling.com and Wright-Wisner at Domm's Bowling Center in Rochester.

Keenan defeated Jerry Brunette Jr. in the finals to take home the $1,200 top prize.  Brunette won $600.  Semifinalists included Jeff Dewar and Chris Werner, who won $250 apiece.

Bill Stoddard and mybowler.com also helped promote the tournament, which was run by John and Frank Martorella.
