The Domination features the same RAD+ core, in which the Paradigm and Passion were molded from with extra grip in the backend. The cover is the Reactor Pearl Reactive, along with the RAD+ core.A slightly lower R.G than the Paradigm and Passion 2.47 giving more read in the midlane. With a .55 diff and the 1500-grit polish finish, we have a great pearl reactive with the read of a solid resin.
The first test was Snapple sport league 40' medium volume. The 41/4 by 4 inch layout with balance hole on the val was the perfect look clean in the front, great midlane roll with a little extra for the backend of the lane.I noticed a little more recovery at the breakpoint with off target deliveries that's always a plus.
The Domination did just that on the typical house pattern. Still great reads in the midlane with total control of the pocket. The carry and reaction did not change much when, I move in the heavy juice.I made a slight change in hand position and increased my revs and the pins were looking for the door. This is must have ball for the arsenal, releases like this come along once a year if that. I would not recomend using the Domination on short, light volume or dry conditions the ball is too much for that. Storm has done it again.
Again my thanks to Steve Kloempken of Strom products for the test ball, and Mike Rose for the drilling and layout as always a great fit.
